The G-8 Cardinals Gather & The Most Important Reform | National Catholic Reporter
The G-8 Cardinals Gather & The Most Important Reform | National Catholic Reporter by MSW. MGB: My guess is that the G-8 is the first step in creating 8 or 9 patriarchates which will then join with the Eastern Church under Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The evolution of doctrine will come in each Patriarchate, with married priests happening first and in some places the ordination of women becoming open for discussion (like here). A resurgence of the use of the rite of Stts. Bachus and Sergio might also occur (aka, gay weddings - the marriages already exist because a marriage is made between the parties before God, with the priest or judge only providing a witness for the community - if families demand it, it will happen). Of more importance would be Catholic vocational and adult education high schools. It is time to quit focusing only on college bound students.
