MGB: Hopefully more conservatives will rethink their positions and more importantly the honesty or dishonesty of their strategies - both on the cultural issues and most especially on the economic - which in many cases they are just plain wrong (unless the goal is to do their donors' bidding). Hopefully all this open-mindedness boomerangs back on Francis as well - especially regarding ordaining women to various roles (including the priesthood) and on comparing what makes a valid marriage to both gays and straights (exactly the same things - a promise before God, with or without the benefit of clergy or community).
