America's Exceptional Gun Violence | National Catholic Reporter by MSW.  MGB: Until we get Scalia off the court and replace him with a liberal, Second Amendment jurisprudence won't change.  As important (and sadly ignored in the article) is the bias toward letting dangerous schizophrenics remain at large rather than providing them with longer term supervised care - even if only in a half-way house situation.  Until we pay for such resources again and drop the libertarian non-sense about deinstitutionalization, we will continue to have such tragedies.
