Can Pope Francis Help End the Culture Wars? | National Catholic Reporter by MSW.  MGB: Until Francis is made to understand that allowing legal abortion is not the same as promoting abortion, that birth control use is a symptom of economic inequality and that natural family planning is not better, that the thought that women are unworthy vessels for ordination is really sexist and must be condemned (rather than participating in ordaining women), or that the Church law on marriage usually follows the civil - so that it is time to perform gay marriages in Church - then the culture wars will continue.  It is not solely about tone.
