Opening Night for the GOP

Opening Night for the GOP by MSW.  MGB: I did not watch as I had a PTA Executive Board meeting.  I would not have anyway.  This is all propaganda.  What I did watch was the earlier proceedings of convention business where the rules were adopted by steamroller, including keeping objecting state delegations out of the hall, failing to call for a roll call vote on what sounded like a few close voice votes (the final Paul vote tally shows no danger the establishment would have lost) and the pettiness of not mentioning Paul vote totals after changing the rules to make sure his name could not be officially entered into nomination.  Simply being nice may have ensured good will in the party.  What happens bespeaks a meanness that should not be allowed to run the country. It is no wonder they put all of these activities on at times where most of the public could not see them.  This may be the real story coming out of this convention.
