Catholic Dems Can't Take "Yes" For An Answer by MSW.  MGB: I am pleasantly surprised by cautious.  It depends on what he says.  I hope he also takes time to listen, and the members of the Catholic press who still apologize for the Church's position on Roe do likewise.  Hopefully someone will take the time to explain to him that abortion is a legislative issue in a very limited context - one that will never be tried because his forces would oppose the necessary accommodations to equal protection having to do with criminality and tort reform - and how objecting to the police power required to protect embryos as people can be rightly resisted as a bridge too far when there are better alternatives for reducing abortion.
