MSW versus LifeSiteNews by MSW.  MGB: Methinks they doth protest too much, although no partisan hack likes to be called out, so of course they would respond.  Sadly, there are bishops who would put life issues above all other doctrine, while not first going to great pains to understand how legal abortion actually works in this country (it is almost never a crime - nor is it the result of legislation - there is no "abortion law" unlike in Europe).  Most pro-life rhetoric, whether in politics or the Church, is wasted breath without first understanding the basics.  It is a distraction because there are only very limited things that can be done (and no strategy to do those things - as pursuing an effective strategy would require compromises that would alienate the pro-life base).  In short, such organizations are usually fundraising scams - and sadly they rope in Catholic prelates and commentators who aren't willing to face the truth about the issue in the United States.
