With the way things are going in the GOP, Trump's spokesperson may as well blame Bush, since Bush & Co. seem set to go after Trump,. Of course, not sure if the party faithful will sit still for a coup, there are a lot of wingnuts on his side who would resent it.
Catholics are not going to support attacking NARAL. Quite a few Catholics support their position, even if they would never have an abortion. Any state that can prohibit abortion can mandate it, just ask the Chinese. As for immigration, I note we have some legalists on this list. Let me be clear - the law is an ass and there is no moral argument against a path for citizenship. None. Indeed, there is a strong moral argument to provide one. Of course, if there are people who can't separate morals from law, I can't help them.
Yes, Edward Longshanks did lots of bad things, but he is still the last Plantagenet king I am descended from (although I have Tudor and Stewart relations). That fact makes about as much sense as linking saving a puppy to drowning Jews (I also have a few of those in my family tree), almost 1000 years ago. Apparantly, Grandpa Ed had some of the same views on immigration as Trump.
