As I have written before, the flavors of authoritative teaching interest me not. They only interet authoritarians. It is purely natural law reasoning and is sourced by the natural law reasoning in scripture. Some things can be found with reason and belief only, so they must be validated by consensus, like Chalchedom and Nicea, Others are natural law, so they speak to reason, not belief, and authoirty is uselss if it does not also make sense. Of coure, that probably leaves Arroyo and Sirico out.
