This is always a big mistake in Virginia. He should have changed his ad buy appropriately and gone hard responding to Youngkin's shading of the truth. Think Kerry's lack of response to the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth. Candidates who don't call out obvious lies deserve to lose.
