MGB: The Cnurch was in need of a bit of Ignatian spirituality - which focuses on trusting God and not ones own hubris - which it is designed to break apart. A lot of bishops are going to have some difficulty with this thinking and caring Pope. Indeed, in papal tradition, what the Magisterium means will change - but in such a way that no change is admitted. Who says the pope does not know Vatican politics?
