When the Lord said "let the little children come to me, but woe to any who would lead any of these astray, it is better that they be thrown into the sea with a millstone around their neck" he was not talking about false teachings, but the sexual corruption of children by clergy. That is one of those passages that seems to show that things were put in Jesus mouth whether he said them or not.
