Prosecution of Cardinal Becciu shows Francis' reforms will be hard to reverse
Francis is making progress on ending the authoritarianism of the Church, from the Curia to the Cathedral. He has much yet to do. I look forward to seeing how the office of Cardinal Advisor evolves in the new apostolic constitution. Fixing Medieval structures is not enough. I think he knows this. He may not get us there, but he will make it inevitable.
If only he sells off some of the art making the Holy Family appear Milanese and give the money to the victims of abuse. Better now because, according to Our Lady and St. Malachy, Rome not be as eternal as it is made out to be.
