MGB: Sadly, this is not a shock.  I doubt the Officer who shot Michael Brown had parents who were civil rights workers.  This is why reparations are so important and should be an event - to make such people understand the origins of their racism and feel some shame.  That also goes to both sides of the abortion rights movement (yes, including the pro-lifers).
